AMG Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque seeks a seek a Chief Clinical Officer, CCO with experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) and/or ICU experience. The CCO will be a member of the positive leadership and administrative team of facility. Also participates in staffing, decision-making, policy determination, and clinical planning and clinical operations of the hospital. She/he has the responsibility for overseeing management of nursing practices. The CNO must have knowledge of current theoretical approaches to delivering quality nursing care; strategies for examining and applying relevant concepts; current leadership, management, and developmental performance improvement concepts; and the ability to participate in developing and implementing positive strategies to address opportunities for improving nursing care.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current New Mexico Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability with a minimum of three to five years experience in nursing administration.
  • Two years experience as director or associate director of a department of nursing.
  • Able to communicate positively and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
